Cangfeng Juqi 藏峰聚氣 | 15-Year · Jingmai Raw Pu-erh
Fifteen Years of Jingmai Character
Made from 300–500+ year ancient-tree tea leaves sourced from the core Jingmai tea region, this raw Pu-erh has been aged for fifteen years. Time has softened its youthful character into a richer, more composed expression, bringing forward mature honey sweetness, aged depth, and the distinctive aromatic character associated with Jingmai ancient-tree tea.
Appearance
The cake is round, evenly proportioned, and moderately compressed, with a clearly defined central indentation. Thick, tightly formed tea strands are evenly distributed with visible golden tips, while the surface displays a glossy yellow-brown appearance shaped by years of ageing.
Aroma Tea Liquor
Once brewed, the tea produces a clear, bright golden-orange liquor. Mature honey fragrance leads the aromatic profile, supported by aged notes, gentle herbal nuances, warm wood, soft orchid, and sweet dried-junube character. The aromas are rich and persistent, yet remain smooth and well integrated.
Taste Finish
The liquor is rich, full-bodied, and silky, with a substantial, enveloping texture and no youthful harshness or throat dryness. Honeyed sweetness is clearly present in the cup, accompanied by steady returning sweetness and salivation.
The finish is deep and warm, with sweetness lingering in the throat and the aged character remaining long after each sip. A soft, moist mouthfeel and persistent tea fragrance create a composed and lasting finish.
