Yihe Shanhe 頤和山河 | Huazhu Liangzi · White Tea
Each tea cake comes in its own individual gift box.
Ancient-Tree White Tea from Yunnan
Made from first-spring leaves and buds harvested from ancient tea trees over 100 years old in Yunnan, this white tea combines the fresh, bright character of spring material with the fuller depth of old-tree tea. Floral honey and orchid lead the profile, while sweet bud fragrance, gentle herbal notes, and evolving fruit and wood tones create a layered expression that develops throughout the session.
Appearance
The cake is round and evenly formed, with intact, plump buds and leaves preserved throughout. Silvery down is clearly visible across the surface, interwoven with natural brown and silver-white tones. Distinct leaf veins and the open structure of the material reflect the character of ancient-tree white tea.
Aroma & Tea Liquor
Once brewed, the tea produces a clear, bright golden liquor. Floral honey, orchid, and clean sweet bud aromas appear first, followed by gentle herbal and botanical notes. As the tea develops and cools, soft jujube sweetness and woody tones emerge, creating a persistent and evolving aromatic profile.
Taste & Finish
The liquor is rich yet fresh, soft, full, and finely textured. Ancient-tree depth is balanced by the lively freshness of first-spring material, while the sweet bud fragrance carries clearly into the tea liquor. Returning sweetness and steady salivation develop quickly, accompanied by a subtle cooling sensation.
The finish is smooth, moist, and lingering, with sweet bud, botanical, and gentle jujube notes remaining in the mouth. It combines a delicate texture with substantial body and a clean, refreshing aftertaste.
